2021 Race Results!
Watch the 2021 Pinewood Derby races and find out the winners!
The Pinewood Derby returns to in-person racing this year. This great event will be held on Saturday, February 26th at Blackhawk Middle School’s cafeteria.
Per District 196 and Northern Star policy, masks will be required inside of the school building except while eating/drinking. We will be offering a Friday night turn-in on the 25th if you would prefer to avoid the indoor activity on the 26th (early turn-in is available by request at any other time, too). You do not have to be present to race on the 26th.
Car kits will be available at the Cubmaster's house (see email for details). Kits will be free this year for Pack 455 scouts and available for purchase for $5 for siblings, friends, and parents.
There are many great online resources to help you achieve your need for speed.
